During the May half term, Charlie Leighfield and his family went to Uganda as part of a volunteering programme in different local schools, to raise necessary funds for several projects to support the local community. As part of this trip, Charlie supported school children in the classroom and helped build vegetable gardens and a water butt as some of the projects he took on. Charlie was also scheduled to run the Uganda half marathon, but at the last minute, changed to run a full marathon. A fantastic effort by Charlie!
