BEC TCLU Transport Commissioning Changes to School Buses from Bredon to Prince Henry’s High School
WCC school transport have advised parents via email of changes to school buses from Bredon to Prince Henry’s High School which will take effect from the beginning of the Spring Term, Monday 8th January 2024.
The EV13 bus will be withdrawn at the end of this term and will no longer be operating from January 2024. The EV13 bus from Bredon to PHHSonly operates in the mornings and the children who travel on this bus, use either the EV12 or EV15 to return home in the afternoon. All children who are allocated to this bus have been re-allocated to either the EV12 or EV15 and from January, will travel on the same bus in both the morning and the afternoon. Children have been allocated to buses dependant on the nearest boarding point to the home address. In most cases, this is the same as the current afternoon bus allocation. Some children have been allocated to a different bus than they are currently using. This is because there is a boarding point closer to the home address and it also helps to ensure there are no issues with over-capacity on the buses and guarantees that every child has a seat. New passes will be posted to you closer to Christmas, in time for the new term. Please find attached the timetables of the EV12 and EV15.
May I stress the importance of your child only traveling on the allocated service. The ‘No Pass, No Travel’ policy is being enforced. If your child is found to be trying to board the incorrect bus, or cannot produce a valid pass, they will be refused travel.
If you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Transport Commissioning.
