On Monday, 26th January, all members of Burlingham House gathered in the Henrician Theatre for an assembly celebrating the achievements of their peers.
Among those recognised were the newly selected Sports Captains and Vice-Sports Captains for Burlingham:
Captains – Eirlys Warren & Blake James
Vice-Captains – Tia Kohli & Phoenix Wilhoite
Following this, House Point Awards were given to an astonishing 47 students who have been recognised by their teachers as having worked diligently and embodied the Prince Henry’s values, both within the classroom and beyond. Members of the Senior Leadership Team presented thirty Burlingham students with awards in total, with Gleb Butenko, Dragos Moldovan and Joshua Dolphin even being awarded the Prince Henry’s Special Recognition Award for receiving a maximum number of 300 house points.
I hope to see even more members of Burlingham House on stage receiving awards at the next House Assembly and being congratulated not only for the outstanding classwork they produce, but also for arriving to school promptly every morning, maintaining excellent attendance rates and putting themselves forward to participate in some of the many inter-house competitions available at Prince Henry’s High School.
