Our first Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award cohort of the year has successfully completed their qualifying expedition in the Cotswolds, rounding off an impressive two days and one night of teamwork, resilience, and determination.
Over the course of the expedition, the group navigated independently through classic Cotswold countryside – from rolling hills to winding footpaths. They worked together to follow their routes and it was great to see the improvement in map-reading skills over the course of the expedition. Their positive attitude never wavered, even when faced with tired legs, heavy rucksacks, the occasional navigational challenge or the unpredictable British weather!
This achievement marks an important milestone in their DofE journey, and every participant should feel incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished.
