On Monday 19th, the History department took 37 Sixth Form students to the British Museum to see the Bayeux Tapestry on its return to England. Students study Anglo-Saxon and Norman England as part of their A level, so it was a fantastic opportunity to see the source they’ve studied in detail up close. Students enjoyed experiencing the experience at the British Museum and then had time to explore other exhibitions around the Museum. Overall, it was a fascinating day out experiencing the rich history we have on offer.
