Bridge The Gap Update
PHHS Interact have been busy collecting on behalf of Evesham Rotary Club’s Bridge The Gap event on June 21st.
Our target is to raise £800 and our current total stands at £310. We anticipate there will be many more contributions in the run up to the event and we look forward to announcing our final total in the coming weeks.
The tutor groups at Prince Henry’s High School have been making donations to sponsor individual links and decorating them so they can be identified in the finished chain on June 21st. Sponsoring each link costs £1 and the money raised will go towards local charities, supporting children and young people in the Vale, including Working World and Kids Out.
Collections of have been made during form time and tutor groups at Prince Henry’s have been more than generous in their support for this appeal.
Members of PHHS Interact have connected several links to help Evesham Rotary Club in the run up to the event.
Come along on Saturday June 21st to see the giant paper chain and hopefully it will be long enough to join together the two bridges in Evesham.

PHHS Interact – Bridge The Gap Appeal
On Saturday the 21st of June the Evesham Rotary Club will run an event called ‘Bridge the Gap’. They plan to create a paper chain that will link the new Evesham Bridge with the old Workman Bridge. They hope the chain will be able to run a distance of 876 meters along Waterside, linking both bridges.
PHHS Interact will support this event by distributing paper links to each form at Prince Henry’s. Each paper link can be sponsored for just £1, whereby the form can write a message on the link to be included in the final chain. We will reward the form that makes the biggest contribution.
All monies raised will go on to help children in the Vale through their schools, local charities and volunteer organisations; including such events as Kids Out and the Christmas Pantomime, two of Rotary’s local child based projects.
