On Tuesday 27th June, the Year 12 Gold Arts Award Elective put together ‘An Evening of Music, Art and Drama for a Summer’s evening’ as part of their Unit 2 work. Year 10 and Year 12 students also contributed to the evening with a selection of summer-themed readings from ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, solos, piano recitals and band performances from ‘The Lizards”. The foyer was decorated and artwork and photography were on show as part of the exhibition too. Tea, cakes and scones were baked and organised by the Elective students and family and friends joined us for a truly lovely evening.
Well done to all of the students who participated and to the Elective group as they had to organise the whole event from start to finish.
