ARMISTICE DAY REMEMBERED
Prince Henry’s students who are members of the Sea, Air and Army Cadets along with students from the Girl Guides and Scouts led a service today at 11am in remembrance of the ending of the First World War on 11th November 1918. Tristan Cooper, Commanding Officer for Tewkesbury Sea Cadets, joined us for the service which was concluded with a recital of Robert Binyon’s ‘For the Fallen’ by Jonathan Deakin (Head Boy), supported by Sophie Metcalfe (Head Girl). The whole school community also joined together in observing the two minute silence.
