If it’s Enterprise Day at Prince Henry’s and you’re not a teacher or student, you might be wise to plan a trip to the seaside. For the fourth consecutive year, the event brought with it June’s hottest temperatures—yet the heat did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm or determination of our students.
This year’s challenge tasked students with designing and planning an exciting new restaurant concept for Evesham. Rising impressively to the occasion, students showcased not only their creativity but also their ability to think practically about business ideas. From fine dining experiences to quirky and innovative eateries, the variety and quality of proposals demonstrated that the future of hospitality is in very capable hands.
More importantly, Enterprise Day provided an opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate essential skills that are highly valued in the world of work. Communication, collaboration, and resilience were evident throughout the day, alongside a healthy dose of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
The school was also fortunate to welcome a number of external advisers, who generously gave their time and expertise to support the students. Their guidance played a key role in helping students refine their ideas and gain insight into real-world business planning.
Despite the soaring temperatures, the day was a great success. Students should be extremely proud of their efforts, proving once again that determination and teamwork can thrive—even in the heat!
