Dickinson Inspires Students

MATT DICKINSON INSPIRES STUDENTS

Matt Dickinson, the successful author and film maker talked to the whole of Year 9 on Tuesday 1st March, about his successful climb up the North Face of Everest, and about his writing career.  He is the author of the ‘Mortal Chaos’ series, ‘The Everest Files’.  He gave two workshops in the Learning Resource Centre on creative writing to Year 9 classes, and signed copies of his books at lunchtime.  His visit was a great success, and will be followed by a Book Swap Event over the next couple of days in the LRC.
