£1.2 MILLION FOR SCIENCE REFURBISHMENT
On the very last day of term we were delighted to learn that we were successful in our bid to refurbish all of our Science laboratories through a £1.2million pound bid. The existing science rooms will be brought together as a new Science Department and will include state of the art facilities as well as new prep rooms and science resources. Our Science Department received an outstanding Inspection from Ofsted in 2011 and this new funding will enable us to further develop the facilities and curriculum we can offer. I am delighted for the whole department and I must thank my Senior Leadership Team, my Governing Body and Mrs Fisher (Head of Science) for all her support with this bid. The work will commence this Autumn.
