ARRIVING AND LEAVING SCHOOL

Each year group will be in a ‘bubble’ and will be based in different areas of the school. The areas are as follows:

Year 9:
Enter/exit the school by the Caretaker’s Office and will be based in Science. They will be split into three groups called Abbeys. The top playground will be their recreational area.

Year 10:
Enter/exit the school through the Sports Hall and will be based in Abbey Block and split into three groups. They will have the Tennis Courts to use as a recreational area.

Year 11:
Enter/exit the school through the Main Doors and will be based in The Grove and split into three groups. They will use the Quad area for recreation.

Year 12:
The Year 12 students should be accessing and exiting school via the Sports Hall and will be based in the Gym, Lower Burlingham and brand new classrooms where Art used to be.

Year 13:
Enter/exit school from behind Abbey block; will be based in the Sixth Form Common Room, The Pavilions, Seminar Room.

BUS TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

From Wednesday 2nd September 2020 all school buses to Prince Henry’s will run as before. Timetables will be slightly different and students will be required to sit within their designated year group zone on the vehicle for their journey to / from school.

Students who have applied for school transport should have been notified by WCC School Transport of the time and pick up location for their designated route. New bus timetables have been issued and can be found on our School Transport Page.

County Transport have issued the following regulations for students.

KEY CHANGES IN SEPTEMBER

A one-way system will be in operation in the school for students to use to minimise contact.

Students will wash their hands frequently throughout the day.

Pupils will be advised to stay 1m apart where they can.

In accordance with the current guidance, face coverings are not required. See updated DfE Guidance at the top of this page for further information.
