Safeguarding Visit

I met with Mr Freeman, Designated Safeguarding Lead, last week for an update on Safeguarding matters prior to the Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Insurance and Property meeting.

The safeguarding team continue to further enhance and expand on information available to staff and students on safeguarding matters and a Safeguarding, Health and Wellbeing Board has recently been put up outside Mr Freeman’s office, together with photographs and details of the site and senior team posted in the school concourse.

Mr Freeman supplied the Committee with a list of training that has been undertaken this academic year for both staff and pupils, provided internally and by external bodies and this reflects the importance that the whole school staff place upon the safety and welfare of the students in its care.
